DTS on outreach-Chiangrai Team

At this moment: Our iDTS students has separate into 3 teams and in 3 location within Thailand. All of them have great time during Christmas and they are doing a lot of Christmas evangelism party. In Thailand, it is always great time to invite non-Christian to join the Christmas event during this special season. We have reason to tell them about Christ. Christmas in Thailand is not a family time like any other country, but it's time for Christian to take a chance to tell people about the love of Christ. We all working hard, and a lot of prayers and energy put into this event. God has given us much favored among the Thai people. Our students who are from oversea are experiencing new kind of Christmas because they are missing homes and families but this experience, they will not able to experience again if they are not in mission like this. God is so good and He is working so much, we praise God for what He i doing in our students and among people around them.

DTS lecture

DTS Chiangmai is almost finish with our lecture part and the students are getting ready to go out on the outreach. This year we will go to 3 direction which all of these places are new location that never have YWAM teams before.

Chiangrai Team: will work with the tribe call "Lahu Chale" in Thailand there are many tribal people groups and Lahu is also one of many tribes in the country. But Lahe Chele is one of the sub-tribe that hardly have Christian among them. The Lahu people also have difference sub tribes. One of our staff is from this people group and she has a heart to reach out to her people, so when we pray we feel like we are to send this dts to minister to them. Please pray for the team that will be there for week.

Lamphun Team: For Lamphun team, they will go to the district called Lii. A small district outside of Chiangmai that have few churches under one very much want to have teams that will go and help him tell people about God's love and disciple the people in his church so that they can go out and do more.

Petchaboon Team: Petchaboon is one of the province that connect the north and the central part of the country together. Some part of this province has some Christian but the district we are sending team this year, we will work with a local church that started by a normal man who has not been to bible school and does not have much knowledge people seek, but he has a heart and willing to serve God. We would like to support him in what he is doing and would like to be part of God's work around his area.

Challenging Time

International Discipleship Training School is one of the most challenging time of ministry the Lord is leading me to serve at this time. Even though I used to work with DTS's before, but each one of the school is quite different than another. This school, I have been facing many kind of challenging and problems, such as new staffs who just work with me first time, so their kind of leadership and expectation would be very difference than mine. Expectation and misunderstanding from difference staffs and students really push me to draw closer to God and need His Spirit every day of my life in the school. But because I know that the Lord is calling me to work with this DTS, and He is the one who promised me that He will be with me and will help me, this hope and faith is something drive me to do what I am doing. DTS is the time we can see God working so clearly and so evidence. But for the main part, we have seen the Lord starts His work in many people lives already. China trip is one of the prove that God showing Himself more real to us. That is faith I believe it would be like little mustard seed that will grow big someday. God is faithful and true.
This coming week they will learn about Clear Conscience, which is one of the most important week in the school. Please pray with me for the students and staffs that we will learn and grow together again. The only one condition for this week is the students they need to be open to the Lord, which I know that I cannot do it, but only the Lord can. Please pray for strength and wisdom for us,staffs to be sensitive to the work of the Holy Spirit, and allow Him to speak and work through us. Thanks for all your prayers and support. China Trip

This trip for my dts students and my staffs to be in China was really special time. We were able to visit our friends and visit some churches that was great encouragement. The purpose to visit we all hope to go and serve and be the blessing to the family of believers but instead I believe all of us were so blessed much more than we can imagine. We went to hang out with some universities students and be friends with them, even though we were not allow to tell them about our God, but some how we hope and pray that we would be able to show them them the love of Christ to them. And God really prove Himself real to us, some of us become good friends with many Chinese students and them were the one who asked us if we were the followers of Jesus. Much more than that, the Lord really prove Himself true to our team, both small and big things. One of the story that really impact my life was a story of one of my American student who forgot his passport, air ticket back to Thailand and his camera. Many of our Chinese friends told us that it was impossible to get his stuffs back from Chinese taxi. Some of our friends suggested that we need to travel to another city to try to get his passport then need to try to re-issue the ticket but the camera was impossible to get it. That morning our whole team came together and had devotion time just like everyday, but we prayed and petition to the Lord. Because we know that it is impossible for us but we knew all things are possible to our Father. Just about the time we finished our prayer time, the hotel guard came to me and told me to speak with some one on the phone, (the security guard could not speak English) They told me to send someone who lost camera to the police station, at first I thought it was for another girl in the team who lost the camera and we reported it to the hotel. But we send the boy who lost his things and then miracle happened, the police told us that he need to see the boy in the passport. Our student went to the police station and found everything he lost waiting for him there. All of us who prayed ealier cried with joy and gave thanks to our Father.
The story was so encouraging and it really raised our faith in God and know that he was with us. Even our Chinese friends they also saw something difference in us, some of them asked very important questions like "How could you have so much joy, don't you have any problems?" So some of us were able to answer something like "Because we have the Helper so when we face problems we ask Him to help us." Please continue to pray for our Chinese friends, even though we are back to Thailand now but we have some friends there will follow them up. Please continue to pray for my students and my staffs as we have 4 more lecture weeks to go and them 7 weeks outreaches in Thailand. We as staffs really pray that the Lord will work a lot in us and our students, and we believe that God will change their lives so that they can stand up and follow the purpose God created them to be.

Hearing God's Voice

This week with DTS Chiangmai we learn about Hearing God's voice, which we consider one of the heart of YWAM. As we valued individual to hear God and follow His great commandment and His direction. The students learn so much and they started to have more confidence in the Lord and about how they can really hear Him speaking to them. I believe this would be another turning point of there life. It is really the joy for me to see the Lord is working in the student's life. It is a tiring mission to work with DTS but it is always a hope that someday they can reach their destiny in Christ. I still have faith in DTS because I know who I become today is also because of my DTS during 1999. It has been 6 weeks since the DTS started, we have seen the Lord working and moving so much in students and staffs, even though there are so much battle we need to fight spiritually. Please keep our school in your prayer staffs and students, as we fight to follow the will of God but the enemy is trying to weaken us and discourage us. One of our male staff "Naret" is in so much problem as his family is attack by the corruption of the official government, we believe it is not against fresh and blood but it is much spiritual warfare. iDTS Chiangmai starts

Time fly so quick like crazy…believe it or not this is the second week of our international DTS in Chiangmai. We got 24 students this year, 13 foreigner’s students and 11 Thais. Things going really crazy because we has got big YWAM conferences in Chiangmai right before our school start, so some of us staffing the school really stress out, and first week was a lot of details and lots of talking and lots of meeting. But this week things starting to get in place so it slow down little bit, I really do praise God for wisdom and strength that God has given me and my staff. To lead the school is not that easy like to just being a staff. This school would be my first school of leading the whole thing fully even though last one I was assistance leader and toward half way my leader told me to take on, but this one really difference. Please continue to pray for me and my staffs, we were hit by the enemy a lot lately, one of our Thai staff left for home a week before the school started because there were some family problems and one of our new staff got really stress out because he does not feel like fitting in. but other than that we really thankful for our students that God brought to us this year, they really excited to be here and when we heard their stories that really encouraging us to strive to serve them and serve God in the school. After the first week, I lost my voice already because I had to translate and speak for most of the time. So whole day and t late at night, speaking and explaining everything about the school that I felt it was really hard work, but now thank be to God, it get little easier.

After (DTS Workshop) Maesot

Wow…this month really goes so fast and it’s almost the end of the month. I came back from the DTS workshop and really praise God for it, because it really helps me to feel like be more ready for this coming DTS. The speakers who came really give a lot of insight and knowledge about DTS, how to run it and how important it is for DTS students to get the most out of what God has for them… But right now things started to get crazy with preparation for YWAM AP conference that coming to Chiangmai on the 31st of August – 3rd of September. Even though I do not have much responsibility but it seems to me that I still get so exciting especially I hard that there would be more than 500 people attend the conference.
Please keep this in your prayers as well, right after AP conference, it would be U of N (University of the Nation) conference from the 3rd – 9th September then our DTS is starting on the 10th of September. Please pray for God’s grace and wisdom for my staffs and I, to go through all of these events. Please pray for divine appointment that I would be able to meet key people during this time, I believe God has set this significant event for special time. Pray also for our DTS students that coming to our school very soon.

Mae Sot

I am leaving Chiangmai to go to Mae Sot for the DTS workshop, there will be people from University of the Nation of YWAM will come and gave us seminar how to train DTS students and how to staff them. From the 14th - 24th of August. Please pray for that as well. We really pray for this coming DTS and believe that God will work so much in our lives as staffs and the lives of our students.

Vision,God given
As I come to realization that Thailand has the gospel for more than 200 years but why it is still consider unreach nation with the Christian less than 1.5 % in the whole country.I found some answers of some questions that I had. Why majority of Christianity is located in only big city like bangkok, chiangmai, Chiangrai and only few others but most of 76 provinces in Thailand are still remain unreach? Because big cities had missionary came to them and stay among them long before, and many people int eh city pray for their cites. ..Why the Thai church do not do anything? The truth is they already do their job, but "the harvest is plentiful but the workers is so few" How could we get more workers? + They need to here the need. How the Thai will stand up and take their place in the nations? got to have somebody take a stand and start something, could I be that one? Is it true that Thailand is so rich in natural resources till they do not need God. That the lie of the enemy to blind them from the truth. Why the Thai people consider Christinity is for the poor and needy but for them still remain prideful with their saying that they do not need God. Because most of the mission work in the past focusing on the hill tribes, slums, remote places with the minority groups, not the Thai.

* Want to see the Mobilization Team happen in Thailand
* “Mobilization Team” could be a person or group of people who will help others people or church to know the alternative channel in their ministry – to come up with the new strategy – idea for evangelism, teaching and disciple the new believers to be mature Christian.
* I would like to be a mediator to connect Thai – churches and YWAM or churches internationally working together.
* This team will be a mediator between churches in every denomination and YWAM or nation wide churches working hand in hand together without barrier.
* The churches will be energize to evangelism and invite people in every genders every type to church without blaming them but give them chance to know the love of Christ.

* The young Thai Christian will step up and take their place in the nation in the Great Commandments not only reach out to their fellow Thai friends but also the neighbor nations.
* Want to see them catch vision that God has for the Thai.
* Want to see them get training weather DTS or any kind of training to prepare them to serve the Lord and be mature in their Christian lives.
* Want to see young Thai Christian change perspective about Christianity and on fire for God.
* Want to see every group of people in the Thai society come to the Lord

* Young people

o I believe the young people are the key to change the nations as well, because if they growing up with the knowledge of the one true God they could lead the nations to the fullness that God has plan for them.
o The native are also the main key need to be reached in every way, they know the language, culture and people better than the foreigners but they also need to see the good example from Christian all over the world to show them God’s love.
(This is where coffee shop is now coming and need God to carry on and give wisdom how to do it.Because I want to create a safe place, another hang out place for the young people to come in and meet God, instead of going to bars, the coffee shop would be nice and relax place where they can come in to hang out and do their home work, sit and talk to friends...it will provide warm atmosphere...not too Christian but it will be place they like )

* Business man
o They are the most influential people who could change the face of the earth by economy. They are the middle class people who can connect the upper level of people and the lower. They are easy to access but very few of them know God.
o I believe that the Lord allow me to get degree in business for a purpose, when the right timing comes, I believe He will use it for His good. I also am praying so much about this channel – some how the Lord will open the door for me to serve the business world.
(This is where Lighthouse Excursion come in the picture, as i would like to reach out to the business world through this company. For sure, this will take me to come in contact with many business people in the business world, such as hotels workers, drivers, tourist attractions workers, even the church members all over the country that, this company will get connected with. Then it would be another channel to reach out to the Thai in the remote part of Thailand as well. Each team that come and join this biking prayer tour, they will be able to make a difference in any places they go to, and invite churches in Thailand to join in reaching out to their neighbors, and the team will be able to spend time at the new places start from the north of Thailand and hopefully they can go all over Thailand)

Thailand and South East Asia countries need to hear the gospel – in every tongue and tribes even the remote part of the world need to hear the Good News. Each of us needs to take action in our part and use our talents to success all His plans.

August_Updates

August has come and it’s almost getting to the half of the month….and yes…many kind of challenging ahead of me … I praise God for the YWAM Thailand national conference during the 1st – 4th of August, it really something that God again refreshed me with the message. The theme was “Journey” so it was overall time of reflex of what had happen in YWAM Thailand in the past and the journey we will take together in the near future. It really confirmed to me something the Lord has been speaking with me lately. God really confirm to me that the journey I am on is the right one and he is in control. Even though my human mind cannot fully understand but in the end God will be glorify. The path that each of us take, it might over lap with other people who already have walk this way before us and also there will be a lot more people will follow after us and lead the way ahead of us. The speaker at the conference is Mr. Ian Muir is the international director of YWAM so according to his experience in YWAM and in the mission field in Africa many years really encourage me so much.
August is the crazy month for me and my staffs, after the national conference we come back to Chiangmai to help prepare for YWAM Asia Pacific and U of N workshop in early September, plus we still need to prepare for our DTS classes as well. But on the 14th – 24th this month my DTS staffs and I, we will go to Mae Sod which would be another province 5 hours away from Chiangmai to do DTS workshop which the team who in charge of DTS classes international would come and teach us more about how to staff DTS. I believe it would be good time to learn and plan more together and spend lots of time as a team more. There would be DTS staffs from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar come together and seek the Lord together and we hope to improve it more so that our DTS school would be life changing time for all of our students.
Please continue to pray for our school staffs, right now we have 7 staffs + 2 of our directors (family) and now we have one couple who is YWAM Chiangmai staffs that willing to help us part time with our foreigners students. So that’s really take some stress out of me, we believe it would be good. God is doing new things in our school and in each our staffs as well. There are 3 new fulltime staffs and 1 couple that we need God to make them fill part of the team, as we believe God wants us to work as a team… our Thai staffs (6 of us) still have struggle with financial support but we all believe this is the time God is leading us to serve in the school. So we also believe that God will provide. Financial thing is always big challenge, and for me because I might not able to work part time anymore, so that would bring little stress to me. I am so thankful to some of you who have been faithfully walked with me all these years, even though it is not much but that really encourage me to be here today. Thank you for believing in me. And to some of my new friends who just starting to know me, I would like to invite you to be part of my team in this ministry God is calling me to, whether in prayers and financial support. Hi everyone...this post ...I would like to thanks all of you who pray for my dad and thanks for your encouragement...my dad is getting so much better after he had some time to rest...but during this season it is little hard to get him to bed because it is the rice planting season so most of his time he has to be at the rice field...
Thanks for continue to pray for me...early August from the 1st - 4th i will go to YWAM Thailand national conference in North Eastern part of the country...it will be good to meet up with YWAMers from around the country...but it is a long drive and lots of money to pay...but I'm sure it's worth of it...I hope it would be time of refreshing and gathering with family in YWAM around the country...
When the time is passing so quick and times for DTS is coming so close...I get more and more exciting about it...right now we got 24 students accepted already and many more still send their applications in...but we can only get 4 more...it will be good school...The main topic for the school will be "Fear of the Lord" please continue to pray for us, staffs and students...thanks for being part of my life...God bless ...

Urgent prayer request...

Friends…..
Please pray for my father… I heard from my step mom that he is not well…during this time…it’s raining season in Thailand and it a starting season to plant rice… he went to work at the rice field just like everyday…but he got so much headache one evening after come back from the rice field… he complain a lot about his health lately. He does not like to go see doctor, he went to the pharmacy and got some medication, but many times he like to take over doze because he think it would take pain away faster. I still have faith that my father will come to know God someday, I know God starting to open up the opportunity for him to hear more about God’s love. From the team (24/7) from New Life church that went to his village few months ago, that really leave some curiosity to him so much about God. I talked to my cousin and she told me that my dad started to wonder more about the foreigner’s team and the dramas that they did. He and people in the village also keep talking about the team, and waiting for me to bring more team to his village. I am so praying that God will bring some teams that will go and spend time in his village more. I used to take few teams into the village and they started by praying for my father and his village. I felt like the time is so close that he will come to know God soon. The love of God as a Father is revealing to me lots more last few years. My heart is reaching out to my earthly father as well.
God is a Father to a fatherless and He promise He will not leave the orphans, that really come real to me. And it becomes my prayers for my country and the young people in this country. God has starting to put more and more burden in my heart to pray for the country and that God will brings changes into this nation. I always thankful for all God have given to me and He spare my life many times, it’s by the grace of God I am here today and serve God. This hope, I have in God, I also want to tell others about Him. Since I began my walk with God more seriously, I have come to experienced God’s love and provision in many ways. Many times when I think about my life, I know that I couldn’t reach to this place if I did not make decision to follow God many years ago. But many people in Thailand do not know about this yet, including my father.
Please pray with me that God will take my father to the place where he would feel God’s love and forgiveness. My cousins called me and told me that when my father drunk; he would start to talk about how sorry he is with what he did to my mom. I felt like he has been living in guilt for his whole life, and I believe God wants to free him from that. Please join me in prayer that God would open door for him to know God’s love.

July_Update&China Trip

China Trip:

We had great time in China, we went to the city that most of the population in that city are Zhuang people group, they are consider minority group in China, population about 12 million altogether. They live in the most beautiful mountain areas. It is so interesting to us that their language is so similar to our language, so we are able to understand each other a lot. For sure we also look like them in physically so it is easy for us to blend in. we as a team really excited when we found many things so alike some of their objects that they use in farming and even daily life, body parts, and colors also sound so similar. My team and I we believe we had a successful trip and after we come back we now have more ideas how we could prepare and plan for our students to go back there in November. We found out that little city do not have so many white people, so our American friends who went on the trip really attracted to Chinese people in the area so much, and we who have same skin can get in there and start conversation easily. Some times when we walk through the town, and we let out American friends walked ahead of us and we watch people reaction toward our friends was so funny, but we also found that would be our good tools to gathering people around us and we can talked with them more. We do not need to do dramas or performances like we used to, just brings some white people with us, we will be attractive enough for people to starting to ask us questions. That’s sound funny isn’t it…but it is so true… and we went to visit few universities as well…preparing the way for our students to go over.

The more it getting closer to the time DTS will start, the more I get excited about it… but I also know that I really need to get closer to God and He has to help me. Right now we are accepting 20 students already, which half are Thai and half are foreigners. We are expecting about 28 students maximum, according to the capacity of our accommodation could handle. Right now we got just this month to prepare and try to get everything ready, as next months would be crazy for us.

* For DTS class starting in September, staffs and students would be prepared by God to join the school. We now have 1 foreigner man join us as staff… praise God for that and we still need 1 more female foreigner staff and we will be ready to go.
* For my dad and his family, they are starting the rice planting season, my dad told me that he does not know why he didn’t get much rice each year. He is a hard working man, and pray that God will show him, His glory even when he is working. I pray that God will bring my dad to God before he leaves this earth.
* For monthly support during now on and when DTS starts. Thanks for friends who already commit to support me and do that already. I believe God will provide all.

* I need a new laptop computer, the one I am using now is dieing on me. I got this one in 2001; a six years old boy gave me money to buy it. (miracle) And I am so thankful for it because it helped me all along since I did my school of the Bible in the US until now. I am looking for Mc Apple laptop and it is around 1,500 US$ (the price in Thailand is little higher than else where) it would be so much helpful for me for working and traveling.

June_Update

Time fly so quick and it’s already half year went by so quick. This month is one of the crazy months for preparation of DTS and also helping to coordinate for the team. Last Wednesday we had a prayer and meeting in the new DTS building, it really brings some good memory back to me a lot. The building is so beautiful and unlike the old one. But we pray that this new building would be stating of the new blessing that God is providing for us and our students. You can check out the website t see how the DTS building look like.
And yes… June 21st (which is today) we are leaving for China for almost two week. Thanks for financial help some of you sent last minutes. It really strengthens my faith in God. (I still need more for the trip as I didn’t get full amount I needed yet) The purpose of this trip we, as staffs, would like to go in and search through the southern part of China to see where is the possibility we can make difference. Because we hope to take our students in during the school, Thailand and china is very closer in location and language. Some of the local language related to us so it is not hard for the Thai to understand our brothers and sisters in some part of the country.
Please keep my team in your prayers, and during my time in China, I might not be able to check e-mail at all.
Please also pray that God will help my heart to rest in Him through this season of my life, I know some of you have been walking with me for a long time with prayers and support. But this year again… I need you to help me reach the destiny God has for me. Would you please pray…if God would allow you to support me financially? How many times when you pray and expecting God to answer your prayers but not sure when He will do because we know that many times His time is not our times, yes…I am one of you who do that. I praise God for all He has done and answer prayers in my life and ministry all these years. And one of the pray that I have been praying for my earthly father for a least 7 years now, that at least before he die I asked God to save him and allow him to come to know God. Not yet, but coming soon. If you know me and received my updates and walk with me many years, you would have heard many times when I request you to pray for my dad. I have no idea how to start to share with him about God. I mean few years ago he started to open his heart more to try to understand what I am doing because miracle God did with his rice field. Till last week, I have friends from New Life Church from Colorado Springs come unexpectedly and I need to find some ministry for them to do. I mean I have so many opportunities to offer but somehow I share with them my life and my dad, they are willing to go to my dad's place and serve him in the rice field as it is starting rice season now. Few days before team arrived I went to see my dad and talked with the leader of my dad village came to talked with me about taking tourists to his village because he has heard that I work with foreigners, and right now the Tourism Authority of Thailand has started to support the villages and community to open their homes for tourists to visit to learn Thai way of life. So after I heard from the team I shared with them and they agree to go. The team went in and stays in villagers homes and eats with them and works with them during the day. The first night the villagers did some cultural performance for them then the last night the team stayed there, the team were able to do dramas and share about God's forgiveness with the whole village. Because I shared with the team about how I felt my dad carry his guilt along with him all these years, so they shared the gospel at that village so clearly. I was so happy when I come to realize that that was the very first time that my dad and my relative who stay in that village were able to hear the gospel. There were no Christian in that village, no tracts has been passed out, but I remember there were teams that knew me when too visit my dad and prayed for him many times, so that he would come to know God. DTS Chiangmai Updates;

We now have 5 Females staffs and 2 males staffs, and we need 1 male 1 female foreigners and 1 Thai male staff, please continue to pray for us as now there are so many foreigners students already have application in but few Thai. Please continue to pray for us staffs; we will go to China for 2 weeks in June to visit location that we will take our students for outreach during the school. We all need about 1,000$ per person to go in there next month.

Prayers request:

* Pray for my dad, that God will speak to his heart through what he has heard last week.
* Pray for this coming DTS in Chiangmai, I need wisdom from the Lord to lead it.
* Pray for urgent need to go into China next month, I need 1,000 $ for it ( for air fare – transportation over there, food, housing)
* Pray for my monthly support so I will be able to work full time in DTS and do not need to work part time outside DTS like last few years as a DTS leader.

Updates April 2007

Welcome all to the hottest month in Thailand. As some of you might have heard that April is the time when the sun is in the middle of the earth so it really make a great effect to us, who live in Thailand. It is not just the hot of the heat but many situations in Thailand really made us need God the most.

Some of you might have heard from me that, after last international DTS in Chiangmai the early of 2006, I had started to looking into business much more as I believe that God is leading me toward that direction. With the faith believe that God wants me to reach out to people in the business world more. Long story make it short…I started to look for part time job as a tour guide and took tourists around the country. As well as started to work as team coordinator for YWAM Thailand on the northern region, I really enjoy meet new people again and able to go to meet many difference people in the north as well as meet new people in the business world. I felt like I really enjoy working with them and show them who God and who Christian really is… almost two years now since I try to do both in the same time…working and serving God in YWAM… I come to understand that I really enjoy both without leaving one of the others…that's really motivate me to try to do both as my mission work.

By surprise, few months ago, my YWAM leaders in Chiangmai has purpose me to be a leader for this coming international DTS in Chiangmai again. Yes…it caught me by surprise, because I thought I would be done with DTS and started to work in a secular world and part time with YWAM more…I prayed about it and tried to spend much time asking God if this is the right thing.

Many of you might have read my news letter telling that my monthly support has gone down the hill many years ago already. That was one of the reason I had to start to step back from ministry and could not do full time in the job I loved to do with YWAM. Last few years because I started to work in the secular so I have been able to support myself…my family even my ministry. I thought to myself that may be God wants me to work in a business more and to support my fellow Thai missionaries more than me doing it…as a Thai missionary I know how struggle I have been through so I understand the situations of my Thai friends and what they have go through…that's why I had to work, it is not because I do not have enough faith…but I believe that God has called me to business world as my mission field. And I do not want the financial to be something prevents me from serving God in my country and to my people. I am really thankful to all of you who have been walking and supporting me financially all these years, because it really motivating me to rise up and do what I wish to do now.

International DTS – Chiangmai

By FAITH, I accepted the invitation from my leader to lead next bi-lingual DTS in Chiangmai, even though I don't know what would happen or if I would capable to do it or not. On thing I know is, I will not be able to go out and work as I did last year, September 2007 – February 2008, I will lead Chiangmai international DTS. The Lord has challenged me to trust in Him again in term of financial, He reminded me of the time when I went to USA and traveling to many countries in the world, he reminded me that He was the one who provided for me and all my trips. Friends, I know that many of you were part of that journey I took… again this season in my life, I need you to pray with me and walk with me another year. Even though DTS School, will start on September, but now few of my staffs and I we come together every week to pray and seek the Lord and prepare for the school. So that's mean I am not able to travel the country as a tour guide as I did last year…or if I go somewhere I have to come back to Chiangmai the day we have meetings. At this point we have DTS applications almost 10 people and we pray for them and asking God to lead in the processing of accepting students. Please keep us in your prayers, right now we have 6 Thai staff and 1 foreigner, we need more foreigners staffs and 1 more Thai man staff. Please join us in prayers and start this exciting walk with me again. Every schools in the past I was blessed to join them and it has been a big blessing to see the lives of the students changes, to see them where they began and where they are heading …it is a great joy. DTS has change thousands people lives, so I would like to invite you to join me again in this journey. And we will see God blessing pouring out to many people.

Future

In the future, I felt the Lord is leading me toward the business for mission which I believe it could be the goal that reaches out to the business people in Thailand. And it does not have to be a big kind of business but it would be a tool to reach out to the bigger business or even smaller kind of business. Thai people now think that Christianity is for the hill tribes and for the poor in the country because there are so many Christian organizations that are working and doing a lot of actively among them which are blessed by the Lord. But for me as I am living in the city of Chiangmai, I got passion for more of the city people. But to do that I need energy – wisdom and God’s provision for more than before to do it.

New challange

Few weeks ago, I have been asked by my leader in YWAM Chiangmai to pray about leading this coming DTS in Chiangmai on September. I know even though I enjoy what I am doing with the teams but I know this is my time to help out in DTS, so I accepted their request after I spent sometimes in prayer. Please pray for me that I will have wisdom to prepare to lead this coming international DTS in Chiangmai. I felt that, after this coming DTS the Lord is leading me toward something totally new direction. As some of you might have heard me, sharing about doing business for mission and I felt so strongly that after this coming DTS God will allow me to be able to get involve in it much more than now. By hoping to reach out to people in another sphere of ministry, business community, also need to know God.



“Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will springs forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, river in a desert.” Isaiah 43: 18-19

This is the scriptures the Lord has been spoken to me few years back and I have been meditating on it for last few years, till today when the Lord is showing me new things that I felt the Lord is leading me toward. Please keep this in your prayers, I do need God to give me wisdom, as my whole life I have been serving God and living in ministry but not very long from now, as God is leading me to another challenging world.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.” Psalm 127: 1

Thank you so much for all your prayers and supports, lease continue to pray for me and my family, my dad got sick since this new year started, and he got depressed with it because he hardly sick before but now when he sick, he does not know how to rest but wants t get heal immediately. My prayer is still for him to come to know God and receive God forgiveness.

Little bit about myself

I am Thai born in Buddhist family. But I grew up as orphan in a Christian orphanage and learn about God there. My mother die when I was about 3 years old and my dad went to the jail. But through the Christian orphanage I come to realize that life is not about drinking or eating but it is about living for Christ and be an agent of Christ to lead other people come to know this love of Christ just like me. Even though I grew up in the Christian orphanage but I also had struggle like any other people. Until I had a chance to meet God more personal level than just being good Christian and go to church. During my last year in college I came to the end of myself and did not know what to do with my life, I seek God with my whole heart and cried out to Him. Sure enough God show me the way. During that time I went to do internship with YWAM Chiangmai as a translator, I travel to the whole country of Thailand with teams and through that time I felt that I wanted to have that kind of passion and love toward God as the members of the teams had. By Gods grace I went to USA and did my Discipleship Training School, School of Strategic mission and School of the Bible. After all of that school, I am now return back to Thailand my home country and serve God with YWAM Chiangmai.

Freedom in Thailand

In Thailand, there are so much work need to be done for The Kingdom of God and the gospel or majority of Christian are only central in big city like Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Bangkok but there are 76 provinces in all over Thailand. My hope and prayers is to see all of that provinces reached for Christ. Pray with me that God will send many more short term teams to Thailand, weather YWAM teams, Church teams, Youth groups, Professional teams, etc. to YWAM northern Thailand. From my experiences in the past as translator who has been traveling all over the country with teams, I saw tremendous blessing short term teams could make in the lives of the young people and the local churches. I saw many young people from many churches catch the fire for God and go get training and now serve God full time or even serve God in their work places and make much differences in their work places, their homes and their communities. Please join me in prayers and support all you can according the guidance of the Lord.
